What I bring to you today is an old car, Changan Yidong 2015, manual deluxe edition, which is the car in the picture above. Let me briefly introduce the configuration attributes of this car.

The size of the escape car body is 4620X1820X1490, the width of the car is close to that of the B-class car, and the length is also good in the A-class car. The wheelbase is 2660mm, which is not small in this class. I don’t know how the interior space of the car is, which will be mentioned in later articles.

The escape displacement is 1.6 naturally aspirated. The engine is developed by French R&D Department of Changan Automobile. It is a high-speed engine, and the cylinder block is made of aluminum alloy. The gasoline model recommended by the manufacturer is 92 # gasoline, which is also in response to the use requirements of clean energy advocated by the state. The engine provides the maximum power of 92KW and the maximum torque of 160Nm, which is completely sufficient for the positioning of a "grocery shopping" car in daily life, and the power output is also good.

The rider’s car has traveled 13,832 kilometers. It has just been bought for a year, and it is going to be guaranteed for three times soon. The owner didn’t drive much this year. The specific working conditions are urban transportation, going to work, picking up children, etc. I often stop and wait for red lights and traffic jams. The fuel consumption meter shows that the fuel consumption performance is 6.9. Of course, the meter of this car is not particularly accurate. This fuel consumption shows that the owner’s technology is still very good. We got the car and measured the fuel consumption. We added 100 yuan of fuel, and ran for about 220 kilometers. Towns, cities and highways each accounted for one-third of the road conditions, which was less than 50 cents per kilometer. This fuel consumption performance is still a little higher than that of joint venture cars of the same level.

Maybe I am short and can’t represent the riding experience of most riders, but it can also explain the general riding experience.

The streamline feels particularly good. Fog lights are equipped at the front and rear, and now many joint venture vehicles at the same level have cancelled fog lights, which is a very unreasonable cancellation, because the visibility is not high on rainy days, foggy days and roads without street lights at night, and it is indeed a very practical equipment to have fog lights. I also hope that joint venture vehicles at the same level can be equipped with this equipment as standard.

2. Side:

The streamline on the side of the escape is also very eye-catching. The shape of the door stiffener and the door handle complement each other. This angle looks like the escape body is not small, and the edges and corners of the rear taillights continue to the door stiffener. It doesn’t seem to have any abrupt feeling. The feeling of the following stiffener is a little sporty, which adds a lot of dynamic elements to this car.

However, this hard plastic that is easy to move is still very comfortable to touch, and there is no sense of cheapness in the joint venture car. Yidong’s central control uses a lot of chrome decoration, which makes the car look very classy, from gear lever, air conditioning adjustment button to media control button, which instantly appears tall. Yidong’s multimedia screen is a touch screen, and the response is average. In the past, car Bluetooth is also very practical. Listening to songs and answering phones are very practical. Yidong does not support mobile phone mapping, but it is very authentic at this level. The navigation interface is also very concise and clear. I have no experience in the accuracy of the specific route. The owner told me that he also used this navigation on strange roads, which is said to be very practical. 4. Storage space:

Escape storage space is still very good, the two cup holders are quite satisfactory, and the depth is not very deep. Generally, driving, the water cup is fairly stable. The small storage compartment in front of the gear lever is very practical. It is very good to put mobile phones and small invoices in it. This is a good design. Now many cars also adopt this design, which shows that this design is practical. The door handle can also be used as a storage compartment. The mobile phone can’t be put down, so you can put small items such as sugar. There is a large storage tank below, and bottled water can be put in front, but remember to tighten the bottle cap to prevent water from spilling out. The mobile phone and wallet can be put in the back, which is also very convenient. The other three doors are also designed in this way, which is a good design and convenient.

5. Other practical details:

Electronic clock: The electronic clock is in the middle of the center console, which is convenient for drivers to watch the time without looking down at the mobile phone. This is also a very practical function and does not affect safe driving.

Four, power matching and chassis control:

1. Power matching:

This engine is a high-speed engine developed by Changan Automobile, with a displacement of 1.6. It is also used in Changan Yuexiang V7. The low torque of this power is not very good, and it feels very fleshy at first. It is a bit like a turbocharged engine when the speed reaches 1500 rpm. The engine speed is really high, which is about 500 rpm higher in the case of the same gear and the same speed. When the high speed is 120KM/h in the fifth gear, the speed reaches 3500 rpm, and the power output at 4000 rpm is also very powerful. There is no feeling of powerlessness.

The whole power matching is not linear, and the clutch is high. After the first and second gears are shifted, the starting action will have a sense of frustration, which will bring bad driving skills to the passengers. Now this power matching is also used in Chang ‘an Yuexiang V7 manual gear, but there is no such feeling of frustration. I wonder if the new escape manual gear has also been adjusted. If there is no adjustment, I suggest you buy the new automatic version of Yidong. Now it is 6AT, which is good for the control of fuel consumption. Escape also has a good performance on engine noise suppression. Sound insulation materials should also be made of good materials. At high speed, the engine noise will be transmitted to the cab, but at high speed, the wind noise will cover up the engine noise. 2. Chassis control:

Let’s talk about this steering wheel first. The three steering wheels are too big, feel good, and the thickness is moderate. This steering wheel is a multi-function steering wheel, which can be used to control phone calls and media control, which is quite convenient in practice. The direction of the escape power is hydraulic power, which is heavier than the direction of electronic power. It is a small test for female drivers. When reversing and starting the vehicle, the direction is heavier and needs to be adapted.

Yi Yi’s chassis suspension is: front: L-arm McPherson strut suspension, rear: towed arm suspension.
