Cherry and cherry are really not the same thing.
Cherry, a transliteration of English cherries, is a general representative."European sweet cherry"This kind of cherry.
With China traditional cherry-listed around early summer."China Cherry"It’s really not a thing.
But cherries means cherry, so in a broad sense, European sweet cherries and China cherries are both cherries and belong to different species.
Apart from the differences in appearance, taste and time to market, what are the differences in nutritional components? We gave you an "anatomy"-
In addition to these two kinds of fresh cherries, there is also a kind of "European sour cherry", which is generally not eaten as fruit, but you must have seen it when eating cakes-the cherries decorated with colors as bright as plastic are mostly European sour cherries.
As its name suggests, it is sour, so it is not suitable for fresh food. It is usually canned or fruit juice. You may have heard some sayings that "eating cherries can help you sleep" and "eating cherries can reduce uric acid and prevent gout". There are indeed such studies, but most of the protagonists in these studies are sour cherries.
This kind of cherry and sour cherry juice are not easy to buy in China. Don’t eat other cherries in the middle of listening, and eat a big plate of "cherries" at night. Be careful that running to the toilet repeatedly will affect your sleep!
