Extreme Yue 01 is basically the same as the previously unveiled Jidu ROBO-01, with a closed front face design and a convex outline that makes it look layered. The penetrating light strip has a strong recognition at night, and the intelligent interactive lighting system on both sides is composed of two main interactive lights, namely, the word eyebrow and the Pixel, the wheel eyebrow light and the AI indicator light. Has a rich and intelligent dynamic lighting effect. In addition, Extreme Yue 01 has the world’s largest mass-produced "clamshell cover", with an area of 2.15 square meters and a width of 1950mm, and its lower edge extends all the way to the fender, which makes the visual effect of Extreme Yue 01 more integrated.
As a medium and large SUV, the Extreme Yue 01 has slender lines and a low figure. The rounded side lines and the downward sloping roof lines, together with the 21-inch rims, create a ready-to-go body posture, and the drag coefficient is as low as 0.249Cd. It is worth mentioning that, the ultra-Yue 01 adopts frameless electric suction door and cancels the traditional door handle design, which makes its side look more classy. In terms of size, the length, width and height of Polar Yue 01 are 4853*1990*1611mm and the wheelbase is 3000mm respectively.
The downward sloping roof line forms a spoiler with hollow design above the rear of the car, which further highlights its dynamics with the automatic lifting tail. The minimalist design style makes its tail design very neat. It is worth mentioning that when the speed reaches above 95km/h, the tail wing will be automatically raised to reduce the wind resistance; When the vehicle speed drops below 65km/h, the tail automatically retracts. It is also amazing to open the door of Extreme Yue 01. Minimalist design makes its interior futuristic, and almost no physical buttons can be seen. Intelligent voice SIMO has become one of the main ways to control vehicles. SIMO is extremely powerful, and the voice system has powerful capabilities such as full off-line, full scene inside/outside the car, full car function coverage, continuous dialogue, and simultaneous speaking of four tones. In addition, the speech system supports full off-line speech, and the full-end speech recognition speed is as fast as 500 ms, and the end-to-end speech response speed is within 700 ms. The voice ability of Extreme Yue 01 has completely got rid of the dependence on network signals. It will not become "artificial mental retardation" in weak or broken network environments such as tunnels, basements and mountainous areas, and it can still communicate smoothly. And the SIMO system has the functions of self-growth and self-learning.
Extreme Yue 01 is equipped with a 35.6-inch 6K ultra-clear integrated screen, which is the largest in the industry. The screen can be displayed in full screen, double spelling and three screens independently, supporting sliding, dragging and zooming, and supporting three operations. Being able to operate flexibly on such a large screen is entirely due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip carried by Extreme Yue 01. This chip has fully enabled two NPUs for the first time, and its AI computing power is as high as 60TOPS, which is considered to be the strongest among the automotive chips at present. In addition, the ROBO SOUND sound system equipped with Extreme Yue 01 won the Red Dot Sound Design Award, with 18 speakers supporting 7.1.2 channels of 3D sound.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Extreme Yue 01 is the only car in the industry with Apollo advanced autopilot capability. The hardware is equipped with dual NVIDIA Orin intelligent driving chips, with 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras outside the car and 2 cameras inside the car, which can realize the functions of point-to-point navigation assisting PPA and parking service.
Extreme Yue 01 offers two power layout models: rear-drive and four-wheel drive. The maximum power of the rear-drive model is 200kW and the peak torque is 343Nm；. The maximum power of the four-wheel drive model is 400kW. The peak torque is 686Nm. Two kinds of battery packs, namely 71.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and 100kWh ternary lithium battery pack, can provide 550-720km pure battery life under CLTC conditions. The new car supports a fast charge of up to 240kW, and it takes only half an hour to charge from 10% to 80% of the power.
